William "Bill" Steigleman Jr.

William D. “Bill” Steigleman, Jr., 74, went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2020. He was born November 6, 1945 to the late William D. Steigleman, Sr. and Charlotte E. (Rhinehart) of Carlisle, PA.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retiree of the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot.

He loved spending his time hunting and fishing, enjoyed listening to his radio, talking politics with anyone who would listen, and attending his grandson’s wrestling matches.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Doloras M. Steigleman, and four daughters: Dawn M. Rickenbach (Scott), Charlettia S. Burch (Eric), Sophia L. Bounds (Cory), and Billie D. Goon (Michael). Also surviving are his nine grandchildren, including another on the way, as well as two great-granddaughters, all of which he absolutely adored and loved spending time with. He is also survived by his sister, Sylvia Binner, and brother, Edward Steigleman.

There will be open visitation hours on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Community Christian Fellowship, 360 York Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, private memorial services will be held to invite-only guests.
