William Isherwood

William J. Isherwood, 67, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, May 23 in his home. He was born December 8, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late William G. and Dorothy (Kust) Isherwood. He retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot and worked as a consultant for CSA. William was a member of Fantasy Baseball for over 20 years and coached baseball for Upper Allen Township. He loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, M. Coleen ( McAteer) Isherwood; children, Melinda (Les) McDonald of Dillsburg and Brian (Sabra) Isherwood of Dillsburg; four grandchildren, Noah and William McDonald and Lukas and Raegan Isherwood. Also surviving are his siblings, Susan Hoffman of Evans City, PA and Rick Isherwood of Huntersville, NC; and extended family of four sisters, Karen Coradi, Donna Haggerty, Dianne Fuss, Loren Shelpman and brother, Wayne Hamill.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Chad Wenger officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110 or the Penn State Cancer Institute, 400 University Drive, Hershey, PA 17333 in care of William J. Isherwood.
