Willard (Bill) G.Kelly, 86, of Mechanicsburg went Home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday May 16, 2018 in the UPMC Pinnacle-Harrisburg. He was born July 3, 1931 in Saxton, PA to the late Bruce M. and Ethel May Thomas Kelly.He graduated from Saxton-Liberty High School Class of 1951 and was a graduate of Williamsport Technical Institute Class of 1958 as an Aviation Mechanic. He retired from US Air. Willard was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg, and enjoyed troubleshooting and fixing things. He volunteered at the Bethany Village Garden and Wine clubs and served in the U.S. Armyduring the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Helen J. (Heim/Moore) Kelly and daughter Karen ( Bud) Jones of Carlisle, and son J. Ross (Elaine) Moore of Lewistown and serving in West Africa. Grandchildren Christopher (Kelly) Jones, Rebecca (Daniel) Young, Timothy (Ashley) Jones, Natalie (Keith) Steffen and Hannah (Elmer) Yoder and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings; Mona Hopkins, Curtis Kelly, Myron Kelly, Dolores Wyles, Patricia Fluke, and Judith Grosse.
A memorial service will be held in the Rife Center at Bethany Village on Saturday June 16, 2018 at 11:00AM with Rev. Brand Eaton officiating. Inurnment will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Saxton, PA Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Village Care Assurance Fund, 328 Wesley Dr. Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065
