Wanda Keck

Wanda M. Keck, 72, of Biglerville and formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away in the Gettysburg Hospital on Sat. August 3, 2013. Born August 5, 1940 in Shippensburg to the late Dana and Myrtle Dotterer Porter, she was also predeceased by her husband, John L. Keck who passed away in 1993.

An extremely loving individual, Wanda was very proud of her children and grandchildren, and loved them all dearly; she was also a great animal lover.  She attended the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Biglerville and enjoyed reading her Bible daily. Collecting stuffed animals and watching crime shows, such as CSI, on TV were her pastimes.

Wanda is survived by three sons: Daniel Keck of Biglerville, John Keck (Erin) of Mechanicsburg, and Dana Keck (Kim) of Mt. Holly Springs. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Jey, Colton and Jonathan Keck; a brother, Earl Porter; and three sisters, Dorothy Barnes, Mary Johnston and Erna Campbell.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with the Reverend Ryan Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.  A viewing will be held Thursday, August 8 from 6 until 8 PM in the funeral home.
