W. Shughart

W. Robert Shughart, 87, of South Middleton Twp., Mt. Holly Springs passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in the Pinnacle Health Center, Harrisburg. He was born April 18, 1926 in Carlisle to the late Abner & Margie Bear Shughart.

Bob was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School Class of 1944. He retired from Wolf’s Bus Lines INC.  as a tour bus driver with 22 years of service. After retirement, he was employed with Alert Pharmacy, Mt. Holly Springs. Bob was a member of the Orchard Springs Fellowship Church of Aspers and the Mt. Holly Springs Golden Age Club.

He is survived by his loving wife, Iva Shughart; his daughter, Rev. Nicole (husband Rev. Timothy) Strange of Sanjose, Costa Rica; his son, W. Robert Shughart II (wife Edna) of Gardners; and four granddaughters, Kathryn Shughart, Kelly Shughart, Francesea Panzanella and Gianna Panzanella. He was predeceased by two sisters, Genevieve Turner and Gayle Beeler.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs with Rev. Anthony C. DeRosa and Rev. Timothy Strange officiating. A viewing will be held Monday morning from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
