Virginia Yeingst

Virginia N. Yeingst, 81, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the West Shore Hospital.  Born June 19, 1934 in Carlisle, PA to the late Elmer B. and Dorothy Franklin Neff, she also graduated from the Carlisle High School Class of 1952. Virginia retired from the Capital Area Intermediate Unit and was a member of the Waggoners United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Samuel L. Yeingst Jr. and her daughter, Kimberly A. Malloy of Carlisle. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Joshua Malloy and Brooke (Michael) George; two great granddaughters, Hailee and Abigail George; and her brother, Donald Neff of Gardners. She was predeceased by seven brothers: Manard, Elmer, Searight, Robert, Vernon, Kenneth and James Neff.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made on behalf of her great granddaughter, Hailee George, to the Autism Society of the Greater Harrisburg Area, P.O. Box 101, Enola, PA 17025.
