Vicki Martin

Vicki Ann Martin, 72, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Claremont  Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 22, 1944 in Easton, PA to the late Leroy G. and Violet Aust Martin.

Vicki graduated from Shippensburg University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She worked for the government as an administrative assistant. Vicki was a former member of the Moose, Elks, and the Eagles Aerie 1299 all in Carlisle. She was also a member of the First Lutheran Church in Carlisle.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Ann (Brian L.) Nelson of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Katelyn, Garrett and Mason; and two sisters, Penny Hilton of Powatan, VA and Bonnie Martin of Daytona Beach, Fl.

Memorial  services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the New Beginnings Loft, 558 Petersburg Road, Carlisle, PA 17015 with the Rev. Amy Moreno officiating.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Road, Wormleysburg, PA 17043 or St. Jude's PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
