Verna Fultz

Verna Yinger Kreaps Fultz, 88, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 in her residence. She was born in Carlisle on July 10, 1932 to the late Vernon “Slim” and Anna (Hocker) Yinger. Verna will always be remembered as a warm loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and mom-in-law. If you knew her, you loved her and called her Dimpy. Her first and forever love was Donald Kreaps who paved the way for her in 1989. She married Clarence Fultz on February 3, 1995. Both were longtime members of the Carlisle Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband, Verna is survived by her children, Kenneth Kreaps and wife Debbie, Suzanne Thaler and Kelly Kreaps and wife April, all of Carlisle. She was loved and cherished by seven grandchildren and was there to warmly greet 15 great-grandchildren, who were blessed with time to know and love her also. May her quiet, kind, soft and gentle way live on in all of us who will truly miss her.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be announced at a later date.
