Thomas "Tom" Huffman

It is with deep sadness that Thomas "Tom" Huffman, 68, of Carlisle, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2019.

Tom graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, PA, in 1969 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 1973 from Pennsylvania State University.  He was employed as a computer programmer and systems analyst until his disability forced him to retire in 1999.

Tom is survived by Donna Freeman, his life partner of 24 years; two children, Christina (Huffman) Israel and Andrew Huffman, both of Harrisburg, PA; and two brothers, David Patterson of Laurel, MD, and Don Huffman of San Diego, CA.

He was predeceased by his parents, Don Huffman and Hazel (Garwig) Huffman of Ellwood City, PA.

Throughout his life he was a fan of Penn State football, PGA golf, and he also enjoyed a good discussion on politics. Tom adored the cats and Labrador Retrievers he and Donna adopted throughout the years, all who were a special comfort to him while he struggled with his disability.

At Tom's request there will be no viewing, service, or funeral.
