Thomas N. Haskell, 69, of Dillsburg passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill on Sunday, February 8, 2015. He was born January 26, 1946 in Gettysburg to the late Charles N. and Reatha E. Morrison Haskell.
Tom was a 1963 graduate of Biglerville High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era in Korea. He was a devoted employee of the Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland Army Depot. Tom retired in January 2014 after 42 years of service. Tom enjoyed keeping his home and Ford Explorer immaculate, working with his friends in New Cumberland, and being with his family.
Tom is survived by his loving sister, Bonnie (and husband Robert) Smyers of Gardners.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Tom’s service at Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00AM with the Rev. John Estes officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Bendersville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Citizens Hose Company No. 1 and EMS, 109 S. Baltimore St., PO Box 425, Dillsburg, PA 17019.
