Thomas “Tom” E. Madden

Thomas “Tom” E. Madden, 60, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, in the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born April 23, 1962, in Mechanicsburg, PA, to the late Bill and Ruth “Bib” (Collar) Madden. 

Tom was self employed as a welder metal fabricator. He was well known in dirt track circles as a mechanic. He built cars and was a great role model for those in the racing world. He loved his family and always enjoyed his time with them, and most importantly cracker barrel dates with his granddaughters. 

Surviving is his spouse, Pam (Deshong) Madden, of Carlisle; children, Tommy (Tabbi) of Mascot, Tennessee; and Nicholas Madden of Carlisle; grandchildren, Thalia, Taegan, and Tiona; and siblings, Carole, John Madden, and Brian Freeman. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda, and Stephanie.
