Thelma J. Kirkpatrick King, 86, of Carlisle, PA, passed away peacefully at the Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Born in Dauphin County on April 16, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Elsie Moore Kirkpatrick. Thelma was the  widow of Lester "Pete" King who passed away October 20, 1969. During her working career, Thelma was employed by the Carlisle Ribbon Mill, Libby's  Distribution Center and the Upjohn Cleaning Service. She enjoyed going to yard sales and loved flowers. Her greatest pleasures were singing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her companion of 46 years, George Eutzy of Carlisle, PA; a son, Joseph King and companion Marci Branscom of Hickorytown, PA;  three daughters, Beverly (Richard) Salem of Richland, PA, Mary Stover of Dillsburg, PA and Wanda Stover of Harker Heights, Texas; and grandson, Steve King of Marysville, PA, whom she raised. Thelma was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Kirkpatrick and sisters, Evelyn Cleland and Shirley Mitchel. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her, but we know she is reunited with Dad and is singing in the heavenly choir.
