Thelma Forry

Thelma H. Forry, 92, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the Church of God Home, Carlisle. She was born May 14, 1926 in Mechanicsburg to the late J. Cletus and Cora Emma (Weaver) Hertzler. Thelma was a devoted member of the Trindle Springs Lutheran Church. For over 69 years, she volunteered her time with making quilts and crafts and helping with the church newsletter.

Thelma is survived by her husband of 69 years, Gerald R. Forry, marrying in 1948; three daughters, Deborah A. (Frank) Donlevy and Linda S. (James) Manotti, all of Mechanicsburg and Rebecca J. Forry and companion Norman Matusak of Lansdale; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Wilson of Camp Hill and sister -in-law, Janet Forry of Mechanicsburg. She is preceded in death by her brother, Weir Hertzler.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in her church, Thursday, July 5 at 11:00 AM at 14 State Rd. Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 with Rev. Aaron M. Erdley officiating. A visitation will begin at 10:30 AM until the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be made to her church. The Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N.
