Susan Smith

Susan Caroline (Banks) Smith, 40, of Carlisle,  passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Meadows of Camp Hill. Susan was born May 21, 1977 in Camp Hill, to the late Samuel Bruce and Nancy Minerva (Henry) Banks Sr..

Susan is a graduate of the Cumberland Valley High School and gave back to  the school district by serving as a Teacher's Aide.

Surviving is her loving husband of 16 years, Chris Alexander Smith of Carlisle; her children, Kaitlin Nicole Deimler of Dillsburg and Dillon Michael Deimler of Dillsburg; step-children, Joshua David Smith of Ft. Belvore, VA, Joel Alexander Smith of Shippensburg and Curvey Elizabeth Sampson of Carlisle; and 9 Grandchildren , sister, Kathy Ann and Husband Dennis Howard of York Haven. She is preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Bruce Banks Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Mark S. Fetterman officiating. A visitation will be Wednesday, from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt.
