Steven Pettit

Steven A. Pettit, 55, of Newville, PA passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 in the Harrisburg Hospital. He was born August 23, 1960 in Carlisle, PA to Juanita Mullens Pettit Mell of Newville and the late John Pettit.

Steven served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Command Construction and P&S Construction where he was co-owner. Steven liked to work with his hands, woodworking, arts and crafting.

In addition to his Mother and stepfather, Ray Mell he is survived by his wife, Suzette Coleman Pettit; a son, John Pettit of Newville; two daughters, Shelley and Sara Pettit both of Carlisle; and a grandchild, Brianna Warrick of Carlisle.  Also surviving are two brothers, Delbert Pettit of Shermansdale and Corey Mell of Carlisle;  three stepsisters, Deborah Yohe of Newville, Star Wiskeman of Carlisle and Cindy Piper of Gardners. Steven was predeceased by a brother, Gary Pettit.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 29 , 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Road, Mt. Holly Springs, PA  17065 with the Rev. Richard Reese officiating.
