Stephany Carey

Stephany Carey (Aunt Sue), 69, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on November 27, 2024, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. She was born January 9, 1955, in Lewisberry to the late John and Ruth (Wolfe) Carey, Sr.

Stephany was an avid animal lover and enjoyed the outdoors. She loved playing bingo and Sunday poker games with friends and family. Stephany was a member of Carlisle VFW Post 477, the Carlisle American Legion Post 101, and the Carlise Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie Post 1299.

Surviving is her companion, Ron Coleman of Carlisle; daughter, Carissa Carey; grandson, Robert Carey; siblings, Leona Bolling of Carlisle, Samuel Carey of Dillsburg; niece, Tami Carey of Carlisle and numerous other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Stephany was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia Moore, John Carey, Jr., Spencer Carey, Anna Heffelinger, Charles Carey, William Carey, and Richard Carey.
