Shirley J. Patton

Shirley J. Patton, 73, of Gardners, PA, passed away on February 28, 2024, in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 18, 1950, in Glasgow, PA, to the late Roy and Eldean (Boone) Dixon.

Shirley worked at Karns and Giant in the deli department and previously worked for Former GS electric. She was a former member of the American Legion Post 262 in Biglerville.

Surviving Shirley is her husband of 55 years, James Patton of Gardners; children, Tammy (Terry) Adams of Newville and Kevin (Christa) Patton of Dauphin; grandchildren, Chelsea Adams (Ryan) and Jasmyn Lanser; two great grandchildren; and four siblings. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her eight siblings.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the Biglerville American Legion Post 262, 142 4th St, Biglerville, PA 17307. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
