Shenk Ann

Barbara Ann Shenk, 77, of Dickinson Twp. passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born September 30, 1938 in Carlisle, to the late Kenneth W. & Leah E. Kutz Hess. Barbara was a bank teller for PNC, a member of the Huntsdale Church of the Brethren. She loved to do genealogy.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Shenk and her son, Brian A. (Sandy) Fry of Newville; her step daughter, Tracy & Thomas Meyer of Idaho; and step sons, Jeffrey & Kim Shenk of Mt. Holly Springs,  Ward & Lina Shenk  of Upper Gwynned, PA  and Wayne & Maria Shenk of Harrisburg; and five step grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held in her church, Huntsdale Church of the Brethren, Friday December 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM  with visitation starting at 10:00 AM, burial will be in the church cemetery, pastor Harold Yeager officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to her church memorial fund at 170 Church Rd. Carlisle, PA 17015. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N.
