Sarah Hippensteel

Sarah B. Hippensteel, 90, formerly of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in the Church of God Home, Carlisle. Born September 30, 1924 in Upper Mifflin Twp., PA to the late Raymond S. and Lulu E. Laughlin Bolen, she was the widow of Paul Hippensteel who passed away on Feb. 13, 2000.

Shopping at flea markets was a favorite pastime for Sarah. She also shared with her late husband a love of collecting antique cars. Spending time with her family and grandchildren were most important in her life.

Sarah is survived by her son, Pete Bolen (Linda) of Blain, PA; daughter-in-law, Debbie Hippensteel of Boiling Springs, PA; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Barry and Tom Hippensteel and a brother, Harry Bolen.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating in the Longsdorf Cemetery, Locust Point Rd., New Kingston, PA.
