Sandra L. "Sandi" Engle

Sandra L. Engle(Sandi), 67, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 in the Hershey Medical Center. She was born on July 13, 1949 in DuBois, PA to the late Harold "Ted" and Donnabele Smiley Snyder.

Sandi loved her flowers, her King Charles spaniel, traveling and reading and collecting hardback books. She recently completed an extensive auto tour of England, Scotland and Ireland followed by a lengthy tourist trip by auto to San Diego and back. Sandi retired after working as an insurance billing clerk for numerous local medical facilities. She had a huge impact on the happiness, enjoyment and just plain fun of life on all her family and friends. According to a friend she was admired for her quiet strength and grace. She was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church and a member of the choir.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Doug Engle of Mt. Holly Springs; two sons, Michael Engle of Washington DC and Bill Engle of Hanover, MD; a brother, Duke Snyder of Indio, CA; and a sister, Carol Rafferty of DuBois. She was predeceased by a son, Andrew "Joe" Engle and a sister, Donna Boring.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amelia S. Given Free Library, 114 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt.
