Sandra Miller

Sandra Ruth Trexler Hollen Miller, 77, of Carlisle PA, passed away at home on February 12, 2019 surrounded by her beloved husband, Vick, son, Terry, devoted friends and her babies (Beauty and Checkers). Sandy graduated in 1973 from the Carlisle Nursing School and worked at that facility for 18 years. When she switched over to manage several physicians’ offices in 2003, she retired from public nursing. She then cared for her mother who was ill with Alzheimer’s. When her mother passed away, Sandy went into private duty nursing for several years and retired completely to take care of her husband, family, home and dogs. In lieu of flowers and funeral services, donations may be given to any no-kill animal shelter. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt.
