Sandra Kay Griffie

Sandra Kay Griffie, 61, of Newville, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. She was born June 18, 1961, in Charlestown, WV to the late Carroll William and Virginia M. (Breeden) Fiddler.

Sandra worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Visiting Angels and Thornwald Nursing Home. She was also an author of two children's books, "How Elmer Lost His Hop" and "The Snow Dancer".

Surviving is her husband, Larry Griffie; son, John Stone (Husband, Anthony Turzar); and sister, Linda Fiddler. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas, James, William, and Barbara Fiddler.
