Ruth N. Calaman

Ruth N. (Chestnut) Calaman, 91, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on November 12, 2024, at Chapel Pointe. She was born July 15, 1933, in Newville to the late John and Mary (Crider) Chestnut and was the widow of Frank M. Calaman who passed away November 30, 2023.

Surviving are her sons, Terry and Donna of Gettysburg, Steven and Susan of Carlisle, and Danny and Sandy of Carlisle; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Jane (Floyd) Lebo, Johnny Chestnut and Lee (Bev) Chestnut.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle, 770 S Hanover St, Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Steve Motter officiating. A viewing will be held at 10:30 AM until time of service and burial will take place at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
