Roy Lauffer

Roy F. Lauffer, 95, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 in the Church of God Home, Carlisle. He was born September 11, 1919 in Portage, PA to the late Norman and Emma Roberts Lauffer.

Roy retired from Caterpillar of York and was a member of the Yellow Breeches Anglers Club and the Holly Fish and Game.  An avid fisherman and hunter, he also enjoyed camping and was a US Marine veteran of WWII.

Roy is survived by his wife of 74 years, Esther M. Lauffer; a daughter, Lisa (Thomas) Mickey of Biglerville and a son, Mark (Debbie) Lauffer of Newport News, VA; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Scott Lauffer.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
