Rosemarie Redmond, 52, of Hampden Twp., Mechanicsburg, passed away Sunday, February 16, at her home. She was born July 3, 1961 in Washington, DC to the late Roseann Vorce Redmond and her father, John Peter Redmond Sr. of South Port, NC.
She retired from the Law Office of William C. Kollas, Camp Hill, as their comptroller and was Co-Owner of Sew Crafty, Mechanicsburg. Rosemarie was president of the Salem Park Home Owners Assoc. and she loved to sew and take care of her cats: Eddie, Kimberly and Lydia. She also loved to play softball.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband William G. Adams; her brother, Richard T. (Connie) Redmond, of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Gina McCarren of Ponte Vedra, FL, Cecile (David) Logsdail of Jacksonville, FL and Marybeth (Greg) Redmond of Seattle, WA; and twelve loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, John Peter Redmond Jr.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 12 Noon in the Hope United Methodist Church, 6260 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg with Rev. Samuel Velez-Irizarry, officiating. A gathering and power point presentation will start at 11:30 AM. A time of fellowship, conversation and refreshments will follow the worship service. The interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Furry Friends Network, P.O. Box 519, Boiling Springs, PA 17007. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
