Ronald "Ron" Boyer

Ronald "Ron" O. Boyer, 79, of Gardners, PA  passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at his home. He was born January 2, 1937 in Cashtown, PA  to the late Fred and Mary Jane Monn Boyer.

Ron retired from PPG in Carlisle, PA. His favorite things were to go hunting, cut wood, and do gardening. He loved Nascar, his Kubota Tractors and especially the family dog, Rolex.

He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Barbara Darr Clark of Gardners; a daughter, Carolyn (Gary) Keckler of New Oxford; two sons, Wayne Boyer of East Berlin and Jeffrey (Barbara) Boyer of Gardners; two stepdaughters, Barbara (Greg) Fisher of Newville and Betty Clark of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; a brother, Clyde Boyer of Arendtsville; a sister, Betty Nornhold of FL. Ron was predeceased by a brother, Donald Boyer.

There will be a viewing Thursday,  August 4, 2016  from 6:00 PM until the service at 7:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, 17065 with the Rev. Richard Reese officiating. There will be a gathering at the Holly Inn following the service.
