Ronald Winner

Ronald A. Winner, 72, of Dickinson Twp., Gardners, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at his home. He was born January 28, 1942 in Frostburg, MD to the late Frank and Elizabeth Race Winner. Ron was a Heavy Equipment Adjuster for Transportation Program Administrators.  He attended the Uriah United Methodist Church, Gardners, loved to play golf and liked all sports.

Ron is survived by his wife, LaVonne F. Elliot Winner ; three daughters, Melissa (Donald) McDannell of Gardners, Lynn Mann of Germantown, MD and Jackie (Jeff) Berardi of New Market, MD; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also, surviving is his brother, John Winner of Baltimore; his sister, Vivian Fisher of Eckhart MD; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeffrey Canankamp officiating at the Uriah United Methodist Church, 925 Goodyear Rd., Gardners, PA 17234. Interment will be in the Uriah Church Cemetery. A visitation will follow after the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Uriah Daycare.
