Ronald P. “BUCK” Clark, 75, of South Middleton Twp., Carlisle, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born November 5, 1937 in Carlisle to the late Theodore and Josephine Boward Clark Sr. Ronald graduated from Boiling Springs High School Class of 1957 and retired from Carlisle Tire and Wheel after 42 years of service. Ronald attended the Bethel Assembly of God Church, Carlisle until he became ill. He grew up playing football and baseball and when he was older played sandlot softball. Buck was an avid golfer and loved to watch food shows on TV.
Surviving are two daughters, Jody (David) Rife of Shiremanstown and Tracy (Daren) Keebaugh of Newville; his brother, Roger (Jane) Clark of Carlisle; and his sister Barbara (Larry) Liebrum of Mt. Holly Springs. He has 5 grandchildren: Tara (Steve) Bretz, Sandy Kriser and fiancée Daniel Longreen, all of Lemoyne, Cory (Mandy) Hoover of New Cumberland, Brandon Newcomer and fiancée Marissa Oneill of Carlisle and Heather (Frank) Davison of Hershey. He also has 15 great grandchildren: Ryan, Mason, Katie, Logan, Madison, Natalie, Colby, Xander, Roman Michael, Khloee, Aleeah, Alexis, Sidney, Alexis, and JD.
He was predeceased by his sister, Patsy Drabenstadt and three brothers, Theodore Jr., Richard, Jesse Clark and his son-in-law Thomas Newcomer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. Interment will be in the Letort Cemetery, Middlesex Twp. A viewing will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 6 to 8 PM and 1 hour prior to services on Thursday.
