Ronald Miller

Ronald E. Miller, 82, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born September 27, 1933 in Mechanicsburg, PA to the late Joseph E. and Mildred I. Gunderman Miller.

Ronald retired from PR Hoffman with over 30 years of service, and also retired from the IBM Corporation.  He attended the Middlesex United Methodist Church, and was a member of the South Mountain American Legion Post 674 and Carlisle VFW Post 477.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty H. (Diller) Miller of Carlisle and his children, Linda K. Miller of Carlisle, Elaine L. Bouch (Ronald) of Walnut Bottom, Jennie L. Clubb (David) of Carlisle, Keith E. Miller of Manchester, Scott M. Miller (Colleen) of Fredericksburg, VA, and Karen J. Miller of Carlisle.   Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Ronald was predeceased in death by two daughters, Jo Ann Miller and Debra J. Lehman (Doug);  granddaughter, Amanda L. Miller; and sisters, Nancy Dreistadt and Sue Porter.

A  Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2 PM at the Carlisle VFW Post 477, 2104 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Keith R.
