Ronald Hoon Sr.

Ronald Hoon Sr., 72, of Carlisle, PA, passed away November 11, 2019 in the Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. He was born December 24, 1946 to the late Edward K. and Thelma E. (Albright) Hoon.

Ronald was the owner of "Ron Hoon Quality Painting" for 35 years and attended  Boiling Springs High School. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, enjoyed riding his Harley, traveling and grocery shopping, where he ran into his customers everywhere. Ronald was a loving father, grandfather and husband.

Surviving is his loving wife of 52 years, Mary R. (Ewing) Hoon of Carlisle; children, Stacey L. Huss and husband, David of Duncannon and Ronald Hoon Jr. and fiancé, Emma Pegg of Swindon, England; and grandchildren, Zachary, Sophie and Rebecca. Also surviving are his siblings, Florence E. McGuire, Kenneth L. and John R. "Jack" Hoon, all of Boiling Springs and Randy L. Hoon of Mt. Holly Springs. Ronald was preceded in death by a brother, Maurice E. Hoon.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 3:30 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Brian Warner officiating. A viewing will be held at 1:30 until the time of service and burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
