Ronald Graver

d. February 12, 2013

Ronald L. Graver, 66, of Gardners (Hunters Run), son of the late Boyd and Esther Graver was welcomed into God's presence on Tuesday, February 12th 2013.

Surviving is his true love of 44 1/2 years, his wife Nancy Graver (Keebaugh) whom he married on 5/25/1968; his daughter Angela (Michael Palson) of Carlisle; his son Scott Graver of Boiling Springs; 4 grandsons, Trevor Palson 9 1/2, Trent Palson 8, Tyler Palson 23, Corey Palson 22; his 2 brothers Charles (Brenda) and Rodney (Ruth) of Gardners; along with several nieces and nephews.

Rev. Anthony DeRosa will be conducting the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, Feb 16 at 11 am at Orchard Springs Fellowship, 2140 Carlisle Road, and Aspers PA 17304.  A private family interment will take place at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Orchard Springs Fellowship/Building Fund.

Ron's hobbies were hunting, avid auction goer which he inherited from his dad, taking daily walks, yardwork, vacationing, and spending time with God. He formerly was a member at Bethel A/G Carlisle for 50 years where he was a softball player, served as an usher and bus ministry for 18 years picking up children and families all over Gardners and Mt. Holly Springs. He only missed one Sunday per year to take his family on vacation.  Currently Ron is a member at Orchard Springs Fellowship where he served faithfully as a board member, usher, children’s church worker and BGMC Assistant Coordinator. Ron LOVED being with his family and spending time with his grandsons.  He retired from Tyco Electronics (AMP Inc.) after 44 years of dedicated service and voluntarily served 6 years in the Army Reserves.

So many precious memories of days gone by. He was always wanting to give from his generous spirit and serving the Lord.  If it was something to do with serving our Lord, his desire was to see the lost receive Jesus.  Throughout his life he gave to several organizations, anonymously helped families that were facing financial challenges, sponsored various church departments, and faithfully gave to the OSF church building fund.  He volunteered many hours laboring for the Lord's house, at Bongiorno Conference Center, and at Bethel Christian Academy. He sponsored an overseas missionary and enjoyed his first missions trip to Guatamala. He volunteered at all church dinners and early morning breakfasts, and work days at the church. His last donation was to be a donor to give the gift of sight by becoming a donor in spirit. He always put others first and gave just as Christ gave.

Special thank you to the staff at Johns Hopkins Hospital for their wonderful care and attention that they gave to Ron. Thank you to our prayer warriors who prayed for him.  Ron saw Jesus' face and it took his breath away.  He lived an exceptional Godly life and his legacy will live on in us and will continue to touch others lives.
