Ronald Eppley

Ronald W. Eppley, 72, of Gardners passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 in his home. He was born August 24, 1941 in York to the late Russell and Genevieve Quickel Eppley.

He served in the Navy during the Cuban Crisis, retired from GTE Telephone, was a member of the South Mountain American Legion #674 where he was the financial officer for more than 10 years, and a member of Eagles Arie #1299.

Ronald is survived by his wife Judy A. Clancy Eppley; a son, Robert W. (Sophia) Eppley of York; a daughter, Jennifer (Anthony) Johnson of Griffin, GA; a brother, Maurice Heltzel and a sister, Barbara Foreman both of York; and 5 grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday July 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave. Mt. Holly Springs. The Rev. David Brenneman, his nephew officiating. Visitation and lunch will follow at the American Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Project Share, 5 N.
