Romaine Nye

Romaine E. Nye, 93, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the Chapel Point of Carlisle. She was born October 22, 1924 to the late Paul B. and Elsie I. (Trimmer) Ocker and was the widow of Jim Carpenter and Gaylord "Gene" Nye.

Romaine retired in 1980 from General Motors  where she made wire moldings. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Carlisle.

She is survived by her sisters, Marcella Worley of Hummelstown and Shirley Basom of Carlisle; and several  nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, Romaine is preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Ocker Jr., Virginia Russell and Catherine Viti.
