Roger Dale

Roger Lynn Dale, 80, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away October 10, 2019 in the UPMC Pinnacle West Shore. He was born May 24, 1939 in Hyde, PA to the late Robert Lee and Stella (Rowles) Dale.

Roger retired from Roadway Express after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Camp Hill Church of God, American Gold Wing Association, Teamsters Union #776, and American Motorcycle Association. In his spare time, Roger enjoyed hunting, motorcycle riding and vacationing in Clearfield County.

Surviving is his loving wife, Lorraine H. (Wood) Dale of Camp Hill; three children, Sharon Delancey and husband, David of Millerstown, Colleen Washinger of Halifax and Scott L. Dale and wife, Carla of Mechanicsburg; eight grandchildren, Clay, Zane and Jane Delancey, Kayla Conrad, Quentin Shaffer, Wyatt and Calvin Dale and Grant Washinger; and one great-granddaughter, Jolie Conrad. Also surviving are his siblings, Mary Paul of Mechanicsburg, Robert Dale of Hyde and Norma Stonebeck of Fort Myers, FL.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Camp Hill Church of God, 123 N. 21st St., Camp Hill, PA 17011 with Rev. Jason Cooksey officiating. A viewing will be held Monday, October 14, 2019 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 and one hour prior to the service at his church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church or the Leukemia Society, 101 Erford Rd., Suite 201, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
