Roene Neff

Roene C. Neff, 97, of Mt. Holly Springs passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 in the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. She was born March 15, 1921 in Burgettstown, PA to the late Thomas and Edna (Brown) Goldsboro. Roene is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Neff, who passed away March 23, 1974.

Roene worked as a clerk for the Cumberland County Recorder of Deeds Office and was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church and the church choir. She volunteered her time at the church turkey suppers and loved quilting and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Robbie and Lee March of Mt. Holly Springs and son, Tom and Becky Neff of Gardners, 5 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and sister, Raydel Goldsboro of Harrisburg. In addition to her husband, Roene is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Goldsboro.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM in her church, 202 W. Butler St. Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Edward B. Alwine officiating. A viewing will be held at 1:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
