Rodney Hershey

Rodney L. Hershey, 65, of Shippensburg, PA passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 in Chambersburg Hospital. He was born December 13, 1951 in Chambersburg to the late David & Gladys Yohe Hershey. He retired from Lear Corp. and was a member of Eagles 1299, VFW, White Circle and AMVETS all of Carlisle; also, Minnequa, The Moose and Hub of Shippensburg; American Legion in Mt. Holly Springs and AMVETS in Chambersburg.

Rodney was predeceased by his daughter Bobbi Jo Hershey who passed away December 6, 2012. Surviving are four sisters, Darlene Bigler-Weaver, Brenda Schwerin, Gayle Hartman, and Wanda Gehrett all of Shippensburg; two brothers, Roy Hershey of Shippensburg and Jacob Hershey of Newburg. He was predeceased by his brother, David Hershey and two sisters, Arlene Hershey and Ann Swope.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 7:00PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave. Mt. Holly Springs, PA with Rev.
