Roberta Fern Bitner

Roberta Fern Bitner, 93, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, in the Sarah A Todd Memorial Nursing Home. She was born October 3, 1929, in Braeburn, New Jersey, to the late Guy and Ruth (Watson) Barnhart and was the widow of Wilmer France Bitner who passed away April 26, 2002.

Roberta was a former employee of McCoy Electronics. She was a member of the Faith Chapel of Carlisle and former member of Mt Holly Springs Golden Agers. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, painting, crafts, bowling, gardening, traveling, and working with children and teens.

Surviving are her children, W. Lee Bitner (Kirsten) of Carlisle, Glenda J. Walker (Donald) of Newburg, Sandra A. Hess of Mt. Holly Springs, Sharon L. Wilson (Reuben) of Carlisle, and H. Roxanne Bricker (Kenneth) of Shermansdale; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren; and siblings, Jack Barnhart of Walnut Bottom and Ethel Lehman of Etters. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lee Barnhart, Harold Barnhart, Donald Barnhart, Eleanor Swigert, Irene Dunn, June Hammond, and Marian Stouffer.
