Robert Schriver

Robert W. Schriver, 88, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in the Sarah Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle. He was born June 13, 1926 in Aspers, PA to the late Roy W. and Linnie Bream Schriver and was the widower of Kathryn P. Kuhn Schriver who passed away in 2004.

Robert retired from Carlisle Tire and Rubber with 33 years of service and served in the US Army 103 Infantry Division during WW II. He attended the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Robert is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Vines and two brothers, Donald E. and Howard Roy Schriver.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 Mcland Drive, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with the with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Cumberland County Honor Guard.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church or Yellow Breeches EMS, 223 Mill St., Mt.
