Robert Landis

Robert L. Landis, 77, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Holy Spirit Hospital.  He was born January 26, 1939 in Carlisle, PA to the late Paul and Anna Bishop Landis.

Robert graduated from Carlisle High School class of 1957 and retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot. He attended the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God. Robert was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs Citizens Fire Co, PA National Guard and the Gobin Guards. He was a former vice president of Full Gospel Business Men and a former board member of the Bethel Assembly of God.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Darlene J. Frellesen Landis of Mt. Holly Springs; a daughter, Terri A. (Alan) Shirley of Shippensburg; five sons, Timothy L. (Marge) Landis of Carlisle, Douglas P. (Kathy) Landis of Mt. Holly Springs, David C. (Melody) Landis of Carlisle, Robert S. (Christine) Landis of Huntingdon, and Brian E. Landis of Mt. Holly Springs. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers, James (Pam) Landis and Raymond Landis both of MT.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Rd., Mt. Holly Springs, PA  17065, with the Rev. Dan Murray officiating.
