Robert Buckbee Jr.

Robert B. Buckbee Jr., 51, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 in the Holy Spirit Hospital. He was born August 24, 1962 in Harrisburg to his parents, Robert B. & Shirley Blair Buckbee Sr. of Mechanicsburg. A graduate of Mechanicsburg High School Class of 1980, Robert was a furniture refinisher and loved to work on old clocks. He was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg. In addition to his parents, Bob is survived by his children, Emily B. and Garrett J. Buckbee of Shiremanstown; paternal grandmother, Madeline B. Balsbaugh of Lemoyne and; his sisters, Susan Y. (Paul) Wilcox and daughter Margaret of Frederick, MD and Ellen L. (Roy) Jones and son Brendon of Longwood, FL.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in his church at 130 Nittany Dr., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2014, with Rev. Naomi Sease Carriker officiating.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Relatives and friends are invited to a luncheon after the services in the church social hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
