Robert Brough

Robert E. Brough , 84, of Newville, PA passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 in the West Shore Hospital. He was born August 25, 1931 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Charles A. & Ruth Powell Brough .

Robert served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Frog & Switch Manufacturing in Carlisle, he was a skilled pattern maker. Robert was a member of the Huntsdale Church of the Brethren, Elks BPOE 578, American Legion 674, VFW 7343 and Amvets.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, P. Jane Bear Brough of Newville; two sons, Rob E. Jr. and companion Stacie of Carlisle and Ran L. and companion, Bon Russell of Shermansdale; two daughters, Roxy M. (John) Duncan of Boiling Springs and Kim (Dale) Hartzell of Carlisle; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles A. and Donald P. Brough.

A memorial services will be held  Monday, May 9, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home , 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065  with the Rev.  Harold Yeager officiating. There will be a visitation from 4:00 PM until the service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
