Richard Peck Jr.

Richard Lee Peck, Jr., 67, of Carlisle, PA passed away September 20, 2021, in the UPMC Carlisle. He was born April 23, 1954, in Carlisle to Joyce V. (Rhea) Stone and the late Richard Lee Peck, Sr.

Richard worked for PPG Industries with over 42 years of service and was a graduate of the Boiling Springs High School. His memberships include South Mountain American Legion Post 674, VFW Post 7343 and Mt. Holly Springs Fish and Game. Richard was an avid outdoorsman that loved to spend time at his cabin and loved to hunt and fish.

Surviving is his loving wife of 17 years, Candice (Keller) Peck of Carlisle; children, Matthew Lee Peck (Dawn) of Orange Park, FL, Nikki Bollinger (John Atticks) of Carlisle; Gretchen Woodward (Scott Schreffler) of Carlisle; stepchildren, Donny Smith (Jen) of New Bloomfield, Heather Orndorff (Rich) of Shippensburg and Heidi Smith of Carlisle; 25 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings, Cindy of Mechanicsburg and Christina Hedrick of Boiling Springs.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 27, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. A viewing will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021, at 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be held in the Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
