Richard Keller

Richard L. Keller, 81, of Carlisle passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at his home in S. Middleton Twp. He was born December 13, 1932 in Middlesex Twp. to the late Carson H. and Wilda Irene Blosser Keller.

Richard was an employee of Lear but spent most of his life farming.  He was a member of Eagles #1299 and attended the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God. Richard enjoyed fishing and baseball, especially donkey baseball.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Laura M. Sampson Keller; 2 sons; Richard L. (Delores) Keller Jr. and Randy S. (Robin) Keller, both of Gardners; 2 daughters, Candice M. (Richard) Peck of Carlisle and Kathy A. (Larry) McNew of Gardners. Also surviving Richard is a brother Kenneth L. Keller of Carlisle and 5 sisters, Jean Peck of Mechanicsburg, Kay Minnich of Mt. Joy, Carolann George of Carlisle, Donna Brucker of Il and Martice Hockley of Carlisle; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Mt. Holly Springs, PA   with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. There will be a viewing Monday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Westminster Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to his church, Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Drive, Mt.
