Regina Brewer

Regina E. Brewer, 91, of Green Ridge Village, Newville, and formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away Thursday May 8, 2014 in the Holy Spirit Hospital. She was born to the late Leroy and Alice Myers Crum in Idaville, PA, Adams County, on September 2, 1922 and was the widow of Richard Brewer who passed away January 10, 1979.

Reginia retired from Knouse Foods, Gardners and formerly worked at Orwego Frocks. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Walnut Bottom.  An avid artist, Regina also collected owls and loved to read.

She is survived by her son, Steve R. (Debra) Brewer of Gardners; three daughters, Judy Stevens of Shippensburg, Penny Spahr of Carlisle and Cindy (David) Darhower of Little River, SC; six grandchildren;  ten great grandchildren; and her sister, Esther Slusser of Jonesboro, GA. Regina was predeceased by her son, Mike Brewer and  infant daughter, Janice Brewer.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, with Rev. Harold A. Bolyard Jr. officiating. There will be a viewing Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 118 W. Main St. Walnut Bottom, PA 17266.
