Raymond D. "BUS" Fahnestock, 68, of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 2, 1949 in Mt. Holly Springs to the late Charles Edward and Alice Irene (Weigel) Fahnestock Sr. Ray was the retired owner of Rays Auto Salvage & Garage, employed by Vitro (PPG), where he collected scrap metal and also plowed snow for many places.
Surviving is his companion, Yvonne Reneker of Dillsburg; son, Michael Fahnestock of Carlisle and daughters, Kimberly L. Keck and husband, Dana of Mt. Holly Springs, Ashley E. McKee of Newville and Kristy Bouder of Shippensburg; step-children, Eric McKee of Newville and Anna Neal of Mt. Holly Springs; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Irene Lawson and Connie Lee Moffitt of Carlisle and Martha Louise Fahnestock of Mt. Holly Springs. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Fahnestock, five brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Dr., Mt. Holly Springs with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating.
