Ray D. Hurley, 80, of Gardners, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at his home. He was born July 6, 1932 in Carlisle to the late Edgar and Martha Stump Hurley. Ray retired from Excel Interior Remodeling in Lemoyne. He loved his horses and camping and was an avid woodworker. Ray is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte L. Calaman Hurley; two daughters, Marleen R. (Dean) Yount of Boiling Springs and Elizabeth A. (Charles) Goodyear of Mechanicsburg: and two sons, Michael L. Hurley and companion Maria Farr of Gardners and Richard D. Hurley of Gardners. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his sister, June Brown of Mt. Holly Springs; and his brother Marlin Hurley of Carlisle. He was predeceased by his grandson, Matthew Yount.
A graveside service will be held in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Tim Wheeler officiating.
