Ray L. Deitch

Ray L. Deitch, 85, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on April 15, 2025, in the Church of God Nursing Home. He was born January 30, 1940, in Mechanicsburg to the late Luther R. and Theda J. (McCord) Deitch.

Ray worked for Carlisle School District then later retired from Dickinson College where he worked in maintenance. He was a former square dancer and past member of Friendship Fire Co in Carlisle. According to Ray, his most cherished memories were of his view master collection, his photo collection, and his memories of smoke hole West Virginia and most important to Ray was time with his family.

Ray was a loving and devoted brother to his siblings, Frank J. Deitch (Mary) of CA, Sam E. Deitch (Melisa) of Carlisle, Erma M. Weigel of Hummelstown, Jane A. Donison of Carlisle, and Martha Pritchard of Mechanicsburg.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, April 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Tree of Life Church, 50 K Street, Carlisle, PA 17015 with Rev. Eric Mosemann officiating. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
