Ralph Gutshall Jr.

Ralph A. Gutshall Jr., 87, of Boiling Springs, PA  passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his home.  He was born December 31, 1928 in Newville, PA to the late Ralph and Blanche Neidigh Gutshall Sr.

Ralph retired from the Carlisle Barracks as the supervisor of Roads and Grounds after 40 years of service for the federal government. He was a lifetime member of the Boiling Springs Sportsmen Club and the Walnut Bottom Rod and Gun Club.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 66 years, Fern M. Murphy Gutshall of Boiling Springs; two daughters, Tina Gutshall of Boiling Springs  and Karen (Kenneth) Lenhart of York, PA; grandson, Kenny Lenhart of  York; two sisters, Beatrice Miller  and Shirley (James) Kyle both of Newville; and his four legged grand pup, Laci. He was predeceased by brothers, Eugene and Jim Gutshall; sisters, Charlotte Miller and Alice Miller.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA  17065 with the Rev. Arlene Dunn officiating. There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM until the service on Wednesday. Interment will be private in the Prospect Hill Cemetery  at the convenience of the family.
