Paul Murtorff

Paul E. Murtorff, 96, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Manor Care in Carlisle. He was born March 22, 1918 in Dillsburg to the late James Robert and Kathryn May Kiner Mortorff.

Paul retired from Masland and Sons, and worked for PAC Industries. He was a member of the Uriah United Methodist Church. Paul loved baseball, was an avid baseball card collector and enjoyed singing karaoke.

He is survived by 7 children, Brenda L. Euker (Richard Laskoski) of Carlisle, Helen M. Rieker of Landisville, James E. (Kathy) Murtorff of Harrisburg, Dawn (Thomas)  Jasperson of Henderson, NV, Vonda K. Rhoads (Bruce Jordon) of GA, Carol Ann (Hap) Peiper of Chambersburg,  Charles O. (Lori) Murtorff of Charlotte, NC and; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren;  and numerous nieces and nephews.  Paul was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice Prosser and Mary Long and a brother, George Mortorff.

Services will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Jeffery Canankamp officiating. There will be a viewing on Saturday, March 14 from 5:00 PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home.
