Patsy Schmidt

Patsy Ann Schmidt, 70, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. Born in Carlisle on October 30, 1944 to the late Roy E. and Grace Dennis Guise, she is survived by her loving husband, Michael R. Schmidt.

Retired from the Cumberland County Commissioners Office as an administrative assistant, Patsy was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary # 477 and belonged to the Carlisle BPOE #578 and the Exchange Club. With a big heart and smile that lit up the world, she was a wonderful wife, friend, mother and grandmother.

Also surviving are her children, Todd Eppley (Kara) of Mechanicsburg, and Tammy Legros (Steve) and Toby Eppley (Melissa), both of Carlisle, and Michael and Philip Schmidt (Jennifer), both of Knoxville, TN ; her siblings, Connie White of Carlisle, and Judy Russell, and Barry and Harvey Guise, all of Mt. Holly Springs; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Patsy was predeceased by her brothers, Glenn and Donnie Guise.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home with an Elks service at 7:30 PM.
